Water Feature Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Pool Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the swimming pools, spas, and hot tubs at the hotel premises are clean and safe for guests 24 hours a day.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of related work experience and 3 years of hotel engineering work experience. They will be responsible for servicing and maintaining swimming pools, spas, and hot tubs, as well as installing and servicing water cleaning, filtering, and purification equipment.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct regular checks on the swimming pool's water quality and chemical levels, reporting any issues to the supervisor or chief engineer.Carry out deep cleaning of pools as scheduled and ensure pool tiles are in good condition.Transport and store hazardous chemicals safely.Pick up trash and clean around swimming pools, restrooms, and suites.Diagnose, repair, and maintain guest room and main swimming pool water systems, filter systems, and keep the pool pump rooms clean and organized.Maintain proper chemical balance for the pool, including p H and chlorine levels, in accordance with hotel rules and regulations.Maintain the pool and water features using appropriate chemicals and cleaners.Maintain pool pumps, filters, and related equipment.Keep the pool area, including decks, clean and maintained.Respond promptly and efficiently to pool-related work orders to assess and repair machinery or equipment.Repair and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment.Required Skills and Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of related work experience.3 years of hotel engineering work experience.BENEFITS: This role offers a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for career growth and development.OTHERS: We are an equal opportunity employer that believes in hiring a diverse workforce and fostering an inclusive, people-first environment.
