Senior Field Instrumentation Specialist

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced instrumentation maintenance engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting various systems, performing calibration and loop checks, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in instrumentation, control, and electrical engineering, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in the oil and gas sector. They will also have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Key Responsibilities Maintain and troubleshoot transmitters, analyzers, control valves, PLC/DCS systems, and ESD/FGS safety systems.Perform calibration, loop checks, functional tests, and diagnostics.Implement preventive and predictive maintenance tasks.Ensure compliance with ISA/IEC standards and safety regulations.Prepare calibration reports, maintenance documents, and records.Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and operations teams.Support system upgrades, modifications, and shutdown work.Conduct RCA for repeated instrumentation failures.Manage spare parts, calibration tools, and vendor coordination.Train and support junior instrumentation technicians.Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation, Control, or Electrical Engineering.Minimum 8 years of instrumentation maintenance experience in the Oil & Gas sector.Strong technical knowledge of PLC, DCS, SCADA, and field instrumentation.Experience with hazardous area (Ex/ATEX) instrumentation.Strong understanding of PTW, LOTO, and process safety systems.What We Offer We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
