In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical solutioning on servers, storage, virtualization, backup and related services.Job Purpose This role requires the ability to gather and prioritize product and customer requirements, define solutions as per customer needs, and work closely with product managers to ensure customer satisfaction goals are met.Key Responsibilities Work closely with sales teams to provide full presales assistance in support of sales targets.Illustrate the value of our solution to prospects in a compelling manner.Align company capabilities (products and services) with client business requirements through a professional and ethical business approach.Participate in RFI/RFP document completion, bid coordination, prospect qualification, discovery and requirements gathering, product demonstrations, technical discussions, and design solution proposals.Promote and support sales opportunities into existing accounts, ensuring customers achieve their objectives.Involve in Proof-Of-Concept (POC) activities to assist sales in closing deals.Work closely with product managers to generate leads and opportunities.Stay up-to-date with current products such as HPE, DELL EMC, Nutanix, VMWARE, Commvault, Cohesity etc.Provide product training to internal sales teams.Engage in commercial discussions with principals when required.Maintain regular liaisons with OEM Presales.Collaborate with distributors for product availability and prices.Requirements Application knowledge is essential.Analytical skills are required.Product knowledge is necessary.Domain knowledge is crucial.Consultative selling skills are must-haves.OEM certifications for Server, Storage, Backup are preferred.Certifications on cloud technologies are an added advantage.Qualifications Engineering or equivalent degree is required.Certifications Required HPE MASE certification is preferred.Commvault CVSA certification is preferred.Server & Storage Certified.Backup Solution (Commvault / Cohesity / VEEAM) Technical Certification.Tools Configuration tools from OEM like HPE, DELL, Nutanix etc.Seniority Level Director level candidate required.Employment Type Full-time position available.Job Function Information Technology expert required.Industries IT Services and IT Consulting experience essential.
