High-Performance Database Administrator

About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled SQL Database Administrator to fill this position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and security of our databases.Key Responsibilities: Installation and configuration of SQL Server including patch management and deployment of service packs.Database administration focusing on basic administration tasks and staying up-to-date with the latest features and best practices.Testing, applying patches and service packs to ensure database integrity and stability.Managing database resources and scheduling tasks efficiently to optimize database performance.Troubleshooting issues related to Temp Db, Transaction Log and System Databases to resolve technical problems quickly.Maintaining instance/database monitoring, configuring DB Mail/SQL Mail and Alerts & Operators to stay informed about critical events.Scheduling database backups to ensure business continuity and data recovery in case of an unexpected event.
