Senior Database Specialist

Job Overview The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining database systems and data pipelines in Vertica. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, transformation and retrieval of data from Vertica.Main Responsibilities Implement efficient data pipelines using ETL tools like SAP BODS and Informatica.Develop optimized database structures and data models for high-performance data retrieval and analysis in Vertica.Migrate data from Oracle/SQL Server/SQ Lite to Vertica database.Write program units (functions/procedures) to prepare data based on business requirements.Work with data scientists and analysts to understand their data needs and provide scalable solutions.Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure accurate and integrity of data stored in Vertica.
