Credit Manager

Role : Credit Manager Location : Dubai Role Purpose: The role includes reviewing and analyzing customers' Credit Applications, Availments, and SFCAs. Check documents and the genuineness of financial statements, conduct financial and non-financial analysis for Credit Proposals in accordance with bank policies, and recommend the financing package that meets customer requirements and capabilities. Key Accountabilities of the role Responsibilities: Review credit applications of companies to ensure compliance with credit programs, TM RAC banks policy, central bank laws, and regulations. Approve credit proposals up to the designated limit or recommend proposals for upper approval limits. Provide satisfactory credit decisions (approve, decline, conditional), recommendations, and add value to credit proposal analyses. Contribute to achieving department objectives, goals, and policies. Provide timely reports to SME Risk Head regarding any discrepancies or negative indicators. Work closely with the business in a consultative and proactive manner to ensure effective implementation of credit procedures and policies, and that desired standards are met. Collaborate with the business to ensure the receipt of a complete set of documents required for review and analysis of credit applications. Conduct site visits to customers when needed to evaluate management quality, operations, and creditworthiness. Highlight risk factors and mitigation strategies in each credit application. Perform any other assignments assigned by the line manager. Results Required Ensure minimal errors during application review. Meet the Turnaround Time (TAT) as per SLA with the Business. Undertake proper due diligence for processing and recommending credit proposals. Ensure no regulatory issues arise from reviewed cases. Attend and pass prescribed training courses. Maintain satisfactory internal and external audit ratings. Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required Excellent judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
