Position Overview Aksia is seeking an Associate to join our Asset Class team focusing on private markets (Private Credit, Private Equity, and Real Assets). The team identifies investment opportunities, performs due diligence, and recommends investments, primarily in the GCC region. The role is based in Dubai, with up to three months of training in London, involving regular interaction with global colleagues and clients. Responsibilities: Sourcing, screening, and analyzing private market opportunities Conducting qualitative research and financial statement analysis Performing financial modeling, valuation, and sensitivity analysis Managing third-party diligence and research activities Collaborating with the primary fund asset class team on underlying exposures Preparing investment memorandums and presenting findings to the Investment Committee Maintaining internal databases and tracking investments Authoring research reports focused on private markets Participating in business development activities Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or related field 3+ years of experience in private markets asset classes (Private Equity, Private Credit, or Real Assets) Local experience preferred but not required Strong financial modeling and analysis skills Ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic, written proficiency required Detail-oriented, analytical, and critical thinker Proficient in Excel and other relevant tools Positive attitude, team player, strong work ethic Additional Details Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Other #J-18808-Ljbffr
