Senior Software Cryptography Engineer

Job Opportunity Overview: This is a unique chance to utilize your software engineering and cryptography expertise to develop and maintain the security foundation that enables secure operation and compliance with international information security standards.Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with engineers in the Security Hardening team to achieve and retain various Security certifications Enhance Linux cryptographic components (Open SSL, Libgcrypt, Gnu TLS, and others) with features and functionality required for certification Collaborate with external security consultants to test and validate kernel and crypto module components Work with partners to develop security hardening benchmarks and automation for audit and remediation Contribute to Ubuntu mainline and upstream projects to land solutions and benefit the community
