Job Title: Acquisition Specialist This role entails procurement activities as instructed by the Category Manager, delivering an optimized service quality and cost offering to internal clients, and supporting the Category Manager in delivering value to the Business Plan.Key Responsibilities: Understanding the overall role of Procurement and its value proposition Developing and deepening business stakeholder relationships Engaging in task responsibilities on Procurement System involving PRs approvals and releasing RFPs for sourcing better options price negotiations Handling Contracts track list ensuring it is updated valid and uploading all contracts on SAP ARIBASupporting Vendors to register in Procurement System and facilitating the registration process with the registration team Comprehending ADIB Policies & Procedures and adhering to them Tracking prices for key inputs and assessing their business impact Liasing with respective teams for the creation and publishing of contracts Coordinating with VMCP team members for contract archiving processes Supporting BUs with system implementation inputs for their purchases Negotiating timescales or schedules as per job timelines and urgent deadlines Supporting Procurement SLAs and reducing TAT where applicable Daily intervention and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and manage escalation by investigating the root cause of delays to avoid repetition Ensuring high customer satisfaction by following up with supplier on delivery attending users calls and answering their queries
