Generator Specialist Field Service About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Generator Specialist to join our team in a niche area of Field Service for Generators. As a specialist, you will perform technically demanding work on-site and take appropriate steps to tackle complex problems.You will be responsible for performing unique tasks on turbine and/or generator equipment during new installation, overhaul, repair, or modification projects.Your duties will include completing documents of all installations, inspections, maintenance and repair work, and failures.You will also perform Enwinding improvement, tangential block installation, outer Corona Protection (OCP) / End Corona Protection (ECP) repair and Stator wedge replacement.Additionally, you will perform Insulations repair after voltage drop test and fine tuning of the enwinding overhang.You must have experience in Generator stator rewind, workshop or site re-wedging, Retaining ring removal & installation and J-strap replacement. You should also know how to perform cooper bar brazing.Furthermore, you will be performing Enwinding insulation replacement, Axial Zone Block replacement and gas baffle repair or replacement, Pole Cross Over (PCO) replacement and Slipring replacement.What We Offer: We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for career growth and development.
