Chief Data Automation Specialist

This role offers you the chance to apply your skills in data movement and create meaningful data insights.You will have the opportunity to collaborate with cloud technology platforms like Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory, utilizing their capabilities to drive innovation and efficiency.Key Responsibilities Develop and oversee a specific domain of data originating from domain-specific systems, translating requirements into effective solutions within established architecture.Convert data from source systems to corporate product definitions, optimizing and improving existing data infrastructure for performance, reliability, and scalability.Design and sustain data pipelines from source systems to central data systems, ensuring seamless data flow and accuracy.Manage data integration, processing, and modeling, providing relevant reporting for stakeholders.Ensure secure data access according to authorizations, adhering to security and architectural guidelines.Guarantee quality through thorough testing and deployment to production, maintaining adherence to software development best practices.Essential Qualifications A minimum of 5 years' experience as a data engineer, demonstrating expertise in developing, configuring, and deploying data solutions using cloud services and programming languages (Python, SQL).Strong understanding of various business processes and ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.In-depth knowledge of Azure Databricks, Python/Py Spark, SQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Solutions, and Azure Digital Twin.Experience with data warehousing, including Kimball & Generic data modelling.Preferred Skills Experience with event-driven real-time/stream processing is advantageous.Knowledge of Power BI would be beneficial.Background in Io T data processing and/or Time-series DB is a plus.Why Join Our Organization?Career growth opportunities: We empower you to achieve your full potential by creating professional development opportunities.Warm welcome: We provide a comprehensive onboarding program to ensure a smooth transition and make you feel at home.Continuous learning: Engage in online courses and workshops to enhance your skills and stay up-to-date with industry trends.Additional Information Team collaboration: You will be part of a dynamic Data Services team.Work location: The position is based in Abu Dhabi.Full-time job: This role requires a full-time commitment.Application process: Please submit your application form and attach your cover letter and CV.
