Mechanical Rotating Equipment Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Description As a QA/QC Professional, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing quality assurance and control activities for mechanical rotating equipment in both office and site locations. This role requires ensuring that all rotating machinery and associated systems meet project standards, specifications, and offshore safety requirements.Key Responsibilities: Perform quality assurance and quality control for rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, blowers, motors, etc.).Review engineering documents, specifications, ITPs, and vendor technical submissions.Conduct inspections and testing at vendor shops and site locations.Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements.Coordinate with engineering, procurement, vendors, and site construction teams.Monitor installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities for rotating equipment.Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality records.Support offshore projects and ensure adherence to offshore QA/QC procedures.Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.Minimum 15 years of QA/QC experience in the oil and gas industry.Strong experience with rotating equipment and related inspections.Proven offshore project experience.Knowledge of API, ASME, ISO standards and typical oil & gas QA/QC practices.Strong communication and coordination skills.What We Offer We offer a challenging and rewarding work environment that provides opportunities for professional growth and development.
