Assistant Resident Engineer - Civil (Sewerage Treatment Plant)Requisition Number: 23948BRStantec is looking to hire an Assistant Resident Engineer for a Sewage Treatment Plant in Dubai. This role involves rehabilitation of an existing STP to enhance efficiency and expand capacity to approximately 435,000 m³ /day. The selected candidate will manage construction works and optimize operational processes within the plant.Rehabilitation / Repair of civil works Extension of the plant to around 175,000 m³ /day Rehabilitation of existing 260,000 m³ /day STPQualifications Full knowledge of existing infrastructure in Dubai Relevant degree from a recognized university and at least 15 years of infrastructure works experience Experienced in managing site works for construction and sewage treatment plants and pumping station works of different disciplines Knowledge of design of infrastructure works Familiarity with DM guidelines and ability to manage inspection activities, ensuring alignment with construction work program using quality assurance, quantity surveying, and project network techniques (Primavera P3)Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Primavera P3Excellent written and verbal communication in English; time‑management and supervisory skills Ability to prepare instructions, specifications, reports and cost estimates Decision‑making capacity Ability to liaise with DM and other infrastructure authorities Work Location(s): United Arab Emirates – Dubai Employment Type: Full-Time Job Type: Regular Job Category: Engineering Other Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Job function: Engineering and Information Technology Industries: Business Consulting and Services Join Stantec – active members of the communities we serve, with approximately 22,000 employees across 400+ locations.
