Senior Cost Estimator - Interior Fit-Out Projects

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Estimation Professional to lead our estimation team for interior fit-out projects. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire estimation process, from initial tender inquiries to final contract pricing.Key Responsibilities: Prepare Accurate Cost Estimates: Develop comprehensive cost estimates for high-end interior fit-out projects, taking into account various factors such as materials, labor, and equipment costs.Manage Tender Process: Interpret drawings, specifications, and tender documents to ensure accurate and timely submissions.Develop Bills of Quantities (BOQs): Create detailed BOQs for projects, including all necessary components and materials.Collaborate with Project Teams: Work closely with project managers, architects, and suppliers to determine optimal material, labor, and equipment costs.Negotiate Pricing: Negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure best value for our clients.Oversee Cost Control Measures: Implement effective cost control measures throughout the estimation process to ensure accuracy and efficiency.Identify Value Engineering Solutions: Identify opportunities for cost savings and propose value engineering solutions to optimize project budgets.Lead Estimation Team: Manage a team of estimators and provide guidance and support to ensure accurate and timely estimates.Analyze Contractor Claims: Review and analyze contractor claims for accuracy and fairness.Participate in Pre-Bid Meetings: Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather information and build relationships with potential clients.Requirements: Minimum 10 Years of Experience: Proven track record of delivering accurate and competitive cost estimates for interior fit-out projects.Proven Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.Strong Communication Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Leadership Experience: Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage a team and motivate individuals to achieve goals.Estimation Software Proficiency: Proficiency in estimation software, such as C-Soft or Candy.Location: Abu Dhabi
