Senior Infrastructure Planning Specialist

Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Planning Specialist We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced planning engineer to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining work breakdown structures, analyzing project financial data, and conducting cost and schedule variance analyses.This is a fantastic opportunity to work on major roads and infrastructure projects located in Dubai, utilizing your skills and expertise to deliver high-quality results.Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for small to medium-sized projects Analyze project financial data and identify potential impacts on project outcomes Assist in establishing project baseline data using drawings and specifications Conduct cost and schedule variance analyses to ensure project efficiency Collect and analyze progress data, reviewing performance trends to support decision-making Apply earned value, scope control, and change management methodologies Analyze manpower, labor hours, and labor costs against budget limitations Track purchase order and subcontract commitments and expenditures Support the project reporting process and participate in project cost review meetings Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of project goals and timelines Assist in trend analysis and forecasting to optimize project performance Requirements: A minimum of 10+ years' experience in the Planning / Project Controls field Advanced knowledge of ORACLE Primavera P6 Project Management Software Ability to develop, monitor and control schedules Hands-on working knowledge of WBS coding structure, cost/schedule variance analysis, Earned Value Management (EVMS), project trend, contract change and claims Working knowledge of Time Impact Analysis techniques A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management Benefits: AECOM offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, disability benefits, paid time off, leaves of absences, voluntary benefits, perks, flexible work options, well-being resources, employee assistance program, business travel insurance, service recognition awards, retirement savings plan, and employee stock purchase plan.About AECOM: AECOM is a global infrastructure leader, committed to delivering a better world.
