PURPOSE OF THE ROLEA senior procurement professional is sought after to lead strategic purchasing initiatives and drive business growth through effective contract negotiations.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Foster collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance operational efficiency.Develop comprehensive sourcing strategies to deliver high-quality services while standardizing processes.Negotiate competitive pricing agreements and manage supplier networks to maintain market positioning.Ensure accurate data management, including statements of work and sourcing information.Proactively engage with customers, develop new sourcing channels, and initiate sales enquiries for surplus materials.Manage requisitions, process purchase orders, and adhere to quality, health, safety, environment, and management systems.REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in any field.Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar position.Fluent English; Arabic language skills an advantage.Proficiency in supply chain management principles.
