Senior Backend Developer - Algorithm Trading

Keyrock Job Post We are seeking a seasoned Staff Engineer and Rust Developer to play a pivotal role in the growth of our infrastructure, leveraging an exciting technology stack. The ideal candidate will collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and architects to design and develop new features, integrate new liquidity sources, and structure financial systems.Main Responsibilities: Supporting the implementation, setup, and deployment of trading algorithms.Assisting product managers with planning technical solutions and making trade-offs aligned with the engineering roadmap.Mentoring other engineers and participating in code reviews.Reviewing performance metrics and data analysis to identify weaknesses and optimize activities.Our team is passionate about algo trading, crypto, De Fi, and low-level system design.Background And Experience Requirements: A minimum of 5 years of back-end coding experience (e.g., C++, Rust, Go, or Java).Essential experience with Rust for this role.Familiarity or interest in trading.Familiarity with financial markets and trading algorithms in order books.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.Bonus Requirements: A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in De Fi, Web3, and/or a DAO.Familiarity with AWS.Experience with non-EVM chains.Work Environment: The preference for this role is for the user to be based in the Europe time zone in line with the wider team.Candidates Selection Process: Short technical interview with the Hiring Manager.Tech Challenge.Tech Challenge Debrief.Final meeting with the wider team.Our Offer: Competitive salary package.Autonomy in time management with flexible hours and remote work options.Contribute to an entrepreneurial team focused on excellence.We commit to building a positive and collaborative work environment.
