Manufacturing Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Operations Specialist to operate and maintain machinery in our production facility. This role is ideal for individuals with experience working with fabrication machines and a strong attention to detail.Key Responsibilities: Operate various fabrication machines, including press brakes, shears, rollers, saws, and CNC equipment Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to ensure accurate production Set up machines with the correct tools, fixtures, and materials to meet production requirements Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as necessary Measure and inspect fabricated parts using gauges, calipers, and other measuring instruments to ensure quality standards Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machines to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and 5S guidelines to promote a safe and healthy work environment Collaborate with quality control and engineering teams to resolve production issues and improve overall quality Record production data and report any discrepancies or equipment malfunctions to ensure continuous improvement Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, technical or vocational training a plus Proven experience as a fabrication or machine operator in a manufacturing environment Able to read mechanical drawings and use precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy Basic math and computer skills to perform calculations and record data Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions to meet production requirements Able to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods to complete tasks efficiently
