Job Number : HOT0 BOTK Work Location: Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts Position: Outside Catering Waiter / Waitress Job Description: An Outside Catering Waiter / Waitress is responsible for serving guests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while having extensive knowledge of menu offerings. What will I be doing? As an Outside Catering Waiter / Waitress, your responsibilities include: Managing guest queries in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner Ensuring knowledge of menu and all products Preparing and maintaining mis-en-place at all stations Following correct reporting procedures for issues Ensuring Food and Beverage orders meet quality standards and are delivered promptly Practicing Hilton Grooming standards including uniform, cleanliness, and personal hygiene Preparing outside catering setups to meet function specifications Delivering and serving food and beverages, including meals, condiments, and accompaniments Removing china, glassware, silverware, etc., after meals and delivering to stewarding Maintaining guest satisfaction throughout service Responding to guest requests promptly and courteously Preparing and replenishing foods for hot and cold buffets Replenishing ice and maintaining sanitation standards Transporting food items to and from the kitchen Monitoring and controlling inventory of food and beverages Restocking and breaking down buffets for the next day Performing general cleaning and maintaining work area cleanliness Storing food stock and dry goods properly Assisting team members and other departments as needed Supporting side work such as cleaning, stocking, and folding silverware Complying with security, fire regulations, and health and safety legislation Schedule: Full-time EOE / AA / Disabled / Veterans#J-18808-Ljbffr
