About the Role We are developing AI-sha, a dual-screen AI interpretation device (hardware + software).We are looking for a calm, highly professional Technical Project Manager who has experience managing hardware products AND Android custom OS development, with past work involving factories in Shenzhen.Your main job is to manage the full development cycle from concept → hardware design → software integration → prototype → mass production.You must be able to coordinate with engineers, designers, suppliers, and manufacturers.Responsibilities Lead hardware development (PCB, display integration, battery, mic array).Oversee Android OS customization + dual-screen UI.Coordinate directly with Shenzhen factories (RFQs, BOM, prototype follow-up).Review technical files from hardware & software engineers.Manage communication with designers, firmware engineers, and suppliers.Prepare weekly progress reports.Handle technical documentation and NDA compliance.Ensure project timeline stays on track.Requirements (MUST)Strong experience managing electronic device projects.Previous hands‑on experience with Chinese manufacturers (Shenzhen).Knowledge of ARM/Qualcomm/Media Tek processors.PCB / hardware understanding.Android custom OS / dual display experience.Excellent English communication.Calm personality, organized, respectful.Able to lead multi‑national, remote engineering teams.Nice to Have AI / translation device experience Speech‑to‑text / voice systems Mechanical design understanding Contract Details Duration: 6 months (renewable)Budget: $2,000 – $2,500 / month Remote NDA must be signed before access to full files To Apply Examples of hardware products you managed.Your experience working with Shenzhen manufacturers.Your Android + hardware experience.Your availability & timezone.Job Type Temporary Skills Project Management: Proficiency in managing projects through their entire lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring alignment with business objectives.Technical Knowledge of AI: Deep understanding of AI principles, methodologies, and technologies, empowering effective communication with technical teams and stakeholders.Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
