General & Integrated Science Teacher – QATAR – AUGUST 2026Job Overview Local government funded STEM school; gender segregated; Qatari only students; grades 7–10.Salary and Benefits Tax‑free monthly salary ranging from QAR13,600 to QAR23,700, depending on experience and qualifications.Housing allowance or school‑provided accommodation.Economy‑class airfare for the employee, spouse, and up to three dependent children under 18 at recruitment and/or at the end of service.Medical services in accordance with the governmental healthcare policy of Qatar.Tuition fee reimbursement of up to QAR28,000 per child per year for up to three dependents under 18, from Grade 1/Year 1 to Grade 12/Year 13.Utilities covering the full cost of water, electricity, and internet services up to QAR300 per month (basic plan).Contract duration: one year.Brief Job Description The General & Integrated Science Teacher (Grades 7–10) delivers a comprehensive, concept‑based science curriculum integrating Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Earth/Environmental Science. The postholder designs engaging, inquiry‑based lessons aligned with the school’s STEM philosophy—emphasizing hands‑on investigations, scientific literacy and interdisciplinary connections. The teacher must possess strong general science knowledge, effective classroom management, and the ability to support students across varying levels of ability. This role builds foundational STEM skills that prepare students for advanced science courses in grades 11–12. The postholder also contributes to extracurricular STEM programs, upholds school values and collaborates with colleagues to support the academic and personal development of students.Minimum Requirements A Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject (Master’s preferred)Minimum 3 years of teaching or lab experience Candidates below 50 years of age Experience in STEM‑focused or innovative learning environments is an advantage Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Science, Education, or a science‑related field Master’s degree, teaching license, or multi‑disciplinary science training Experience Teaching General Science at middle‑school or early high‑school level Teaching in STEM‑focused schools Subject Knowledge Strong understanding of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Earth Science fundamentals Expertise in integrating STEM through interdisciplinary approaches Teaching Skills Ability to deliver inquiry‑based, interactive, and student‑centered lessons Experience using PBL, flipped learning, or experiential learning Laboratory Skills Ability to conduct safe and effective multi‑disciplinary lab activities Experience managing a science lab ICT Skills Proficient in educational software, virtual labs, and LMSExperience with STEM tools, simulations, or data collection devices Soft Skills Strong communication, collaboration, classroom management Mentoring, leadership, or competition coaching Personal Attributes Reliable, organized, enthusiastic, student‑centered Passion for interdisciplinary STEM education Commitment Commitment to student welfare and safeguarding Willingness to support co‑curricular STEM activities
