Engineering Manager

Oversee the maintenance repair and operationof all hotel and residential building systems including HVACplumbing electrical elevators fire safety systems and buildingautomation systems.Ensure the property meetsall safety health and environmental standards.Plan and execute preventive maintenance programs to minimizedowntime and reduce the risk of equipmentfailure.Lead train and mentor a team ofengineers and maintenance staff ensuring high standards ofperformance professionalism and customerservice.Create staff schedules and assign tasksto optimize operational efficiency.Conductperformance evaluations provide feedback and ensure continuousprofessional development.Develop and manage theengineering departments annual budget ensuring cost-effectiveoperations and staying within budgetaryconstraints.Monitor energy usage implementenergy-saving initiatives and ensure sustainability practices arein place.Approve and track expenditures forequipment materials and repairs.Ensure that allengineering work does not interfere with the guest or residentexperience maintaining a balance between operational efficiency andcomfort. Respond promptly to guest and resident complaints orservice requests related to engineering matters.Coordinate with other hotel departments to resolve issues in atimely manner.Ensure compliance with all localstate and federal regulations related to building maintenancesafety and health codes.Conduct regular safetyaudits and inspections to identify and rectifyhazards.Develop and implement emergencyresponse plans and procedures for the engineeringdepartment.Lead and manage major renovationprojects repairs and new installations to ensure they are completedon time and within budget.Collaborate withexternal contractors and vendors for specialized projects andservices.Manage all engineering documentationincluding contracts service records and inspectionreports.Stay updated on the latest industrytrends and technology advancements to improve facility operationsand enhance guest experiences.Implement bestpractices for maintenance and sustainability to improve the hotelsoverall operationalefficiency.Qualifications : Sound knowledge ofmechanical plumbing fire system and electricalissues.Understand fully the products and toolsthat are used within the department Electricalmechanical and plumbing qualificationspreferred.One to two years in a public contactposition preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brandhotel Enter and locate work related informationusing computers and/or point of sale systems Possess a graciousfriendly and fun demeanor Ability to multitaskwork in a fast-paced environment and have a high-level attention todetail Strong verbal and written communicationskills in English Maintain positive andproductive working relationships with other employees anddepartments Ability to work independently and topartner with others to promote an environment ofteamwork Remote Work : No Employment Type : Full-time Key Skills Hospitality Experience,Go,Management Experience,React,Redux,Node.js,AWS,Mechanical Engineering,Team Management,Leadership Experience,Mentoring,Distributed Systems Experience: years Vacancy: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
