Assistant Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanic to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a Mechanic you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining various types of vehicles ensuring they operate at peak performance and meet safety standards. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles Diagnose mechanical issues using computerized and manual testing methods Repair or replace faulty parts, components and systems Conduct thorough inspections and quality checks on all serviced vehicles Interpret technical manuals and schematics to guide repair processes Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety protocols Communicate effectively with customers and team members about vehicle conditions and repair needs Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques Perform road tests to ensure proper vehicle operation after repairs Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or technical school certification in automotive technology preferred 5-7 years of experience as an automotive mechanic ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certifications are a plus Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment, hand tools and power tools Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail In-depth knowledge of various vehicle makes and models Comprehensive understanding of automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical and computerized components Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics Excellent time management and organizational skills Strong communication skills in English Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various positions Valid UAE drivers license Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning new technologies Remote Work No Employment Type Full-time #J-18808-Ljbffr
