Job details

•Lead safe, on-time activities, services, and events within area of assignment.
•Train, supervise, and evaluate subordinate workers.
•Assure adequate facility and equipment maintenance.
•Implement proper safety precautions.
•Respond to questions and complaints.
•Assist Recreation Supervisor as needed.
•Brief participants of the rules for each activity prior to the start of the activity.
•Inventory, marketing/publicity and administrative functions.
•Assist with hosting and organizing events, set-up and tear down of equipment and decorations, audiovisual support.
•There may be occasional no-notice special events requiring support.
•Conduct weekly inventories and provide status of equipment for any necessary repairs or replacements.
•Operate audio and video equipment as needed.
•Sign-out/in CAC equipment, such as darts, cards, games and gaming equipment to guests using an appropriate tracking log.
•Support and assist planning for expansion of service or programs related to recreation.
•Prepares and distributes flyers, posters, and other advertisement for area programs.
•Performs, leads and teaches a variety of on-site recreational activities.
•Serves as the Alternate Recreation Lead.
•Perform other job duties as assigned.
