Job details
Key statements which describe the major accountabilities or responsibilities.
1. Safe and efficient operation of propane vaporizers, air mixers, compressors, storage tank level and metering equipment, pressure regulators, control valves, safety devices, gas detection systems, process control systems, gas meters, SCADA systems, alarm systems, communications systems, safety systems, fire suppression systems
2. Make adjustments as required to equipment and settings
3. Ensure safety and compliance to codes at all times
4. Perform routine maintenance on equipment
5. Repair equipment as required
6. Ensure fluids, oils and other requirements are properly maintained
7. Oversee all deliveries of LPG
8. Operate valves and flow control devices to allow efficient operation and loading
9. Use detection equipment to ensure no leaks
10. Must complete all logs and documentation as required.
11. Contact emergency personnel if required
12. Maintain plant, buildings and grounds in safe, functional condition
13. Schedule and track all material requirements and deliveries for work
14. Clean and paint equipment and piping as required
15. Ensure quality and consistency at all times
16. Provide regular reports as required to management and others
17. Proficiently use control and status systems at plant
18. 24 hour shift work required
19. Must be available for call out at any time for emergencies
20. Other works which might be assigned.
