Reservations Manager
Description
Duties and Responsibilities for Reservations Manager Collaborate with the sales and front office teams for all room bookings. Prepare and conduct Reservations team meetings. Prepare duty rosters and ensure attendance is recorded for payroll. Conduct staff evaluations and appraisals. Prepare shift briefings to guide team members and communicate special information. Ensure all reservation hosts are knowledgeable about the hotel. Update team members on current hotel products, services, and facilities. Assign and supervise the Reservations team to complete tasks accurately. Handle VVIP guest requests. Maintain product knowledge, understand rate structures, and apply rate management. Provide high levels of customer service to maximize guest satisfaction. Manage guest complaints and ensure timely resolutions. Answer all incoming calls according to hotel standards. Review reservation statuses, confirmed bookings, cancellations, and no-shows daily. Work closely with other management personnel to support hotel success and guest satisfaction. Ensure Reservations staff work collaboratively with other departments. Possess a university degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management. Have at least 2 years of experience as Reservation Manager, Front Office Manager, or Assistant Front Office Manager in a large operation. Demonstrate good problem-solving, administrative, and interpersonal skills.
