Continue with Google Senior Coordinator – Operational Procurement Contract Duration: 3-Month Fixed-Term Contract Location: Qatar Job Summary We are seeking a results-driven Senior Coordinator – Operational Procurementfor a short-term assignment. The selected candidate will play a key role in executing end-to-end sourcing, purchasing, and contract management processes. This position requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant procurement of goods and services. Key Responsibilities Procurement Execution & Sourcing Support the development and execution of procurement strategies for materials, equipment, and services. Coordinate the full procurement cycle, including RFx preparation, supplier engagement, bid evaluations, and PO issuance. Analyze supplier markets, track industry trends, and identify alternative sourcing opportunities. Consolidate and validate procurement requirements across departments. Prepare and issue purchase orders, expedite deliveries, and manage procurement documentation. Drive process improvements and cost optimization initiatives (e.g., bundling, standardization). Assist in make-or-buy and lease-or-buy decision-making processes. Ensure procurement activities align with organizational goals, budgets, and policies. Vendor & Stakeholder Management Build and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Monitor supplier performance, compliance, and delivery against agreed terms. Coordinate supplier qualification and onboarding processes to mitigate risk. Compliance & Governance Ensure adherence to procurement policies, ethical standards, and legal requirements. Support internal audits and ensure documentation accuracy and traceability. Identify procurement risks and propose appropriate mitigation measures. Contract Administration Assist in negotiating and drafting procurement contracts. Support contract execution and ensure adherence to contractual obligations. Digital Tools & Reporting Utilize ERP and digital procurement tools to manage processes and reporting. Generate reports and track savings, delivery performance, and compliance metrics. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain operations. Procurement/supply chain certification (CIPS, CPSM, etc.) is preferred. Strong understanding of supplier management, tendering, and contract lifecycle. Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP). Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
