Licensing : Must have a valid license to practice from country of origin. Must be eligible for registration and licensing in the State of Qatar. Essential Experience : 3 Years' clinical experience as an Audiology Technician. Sound knowledge and experience in the field of Hearing Aids (fitting and programming). Specification As a Senior Audiology Technician, you will play a central role in delivering audiological diagnostic and rehabilitative care to patients across a public healthcare setting in Doha, Qatar. This role involves performing specialized assessments and fitting hearing aids, supporting both adult and pediatric patients with hearing and balance disorders. You’ll also contribute to rehabilitation planning and ensure smooth departmental operations alongside senior clinical staff. Key Responsibilities : Assisting in the diagnosis and care of patients with ear-related hearing and balance issues. Conducting hearing evaluations using case histories, behavioral audiometry (BOA, VRA, CPA), and conventional tests. Performing physiological and electrophysiological testing, including OAEs, AABR, ABR, ENG, immittance audiometry, acoustic reflex, tone decay, and Eustachian tube dysfunction (ETD) assessments. Administering speech recognition and speech discrimination tests. Leading hearing rehabilitation services, including hearing aid selection, fitting, programming, and counseling. Providing ear mold fittings for hearing protection and device use. Preparing detailed case histories and reports. Supporting the Chief Technologist in ensuring efficient departmental operations. Identifying and addressing communication challenges related to hearing impairment. Performing additional duties as assigned to support the department’s goals.#J-18808-Ljbffr
