Job Description SCOPE AND OBJECTIVES The Spa Manager is responsible for establishing and executing clear short- and long-term goals to ensure the well-being elements of the resort align with the hotel brand values. This role includes daily leadership of the spa, fitness, recreation, and Kids Club teams, overseeing business and strategic directions including marketing and social activities to promote the wellness facilities. Ensuring high-quality guest experiences and team motivation is essential. The role also involves proactive financial management and internal auditing to maximize business opportunities. Alignment with brand wellness values is crucial, focusing on the genuine well-being of guests and colleagues, working closely with People and Culture teams. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Adhere to the Spa Policy & Standard Operating Procedures manual. Represent the spa & wellness, Kids Club, and brand values, maintaining professionalism and establishing relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Promote colleague wellness programs in collaboration with People and Culture teams. Manage operational efficiency of spa & wellness facilities. Ensure effective communication and welfare for staff and other departments. Develop strategic initiatives to market wellness offers and products. Maintain knowledge of competitors’ offerings, pricing, and promotions. Perform additional duties as assigned by the hotel management. Protect property rights at all times. ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in financial budgeting and analysis. Provide monthly budgets and forecasts. Maintain cost control and maximize profitability. Track inventories and report variances. Approve payroll and service charges. Generate and review operational reports. Approve purchase requisitions and invoices, control costs. Maintain warranties and coordinate repairs with engineering. Submit performance reports and report maintenance needs. STRATEGY AND MARKETING OF WELLNESS ASSETS Lead a 12-month strategic marketing plan to identify new business opportunities including social, digital, and event marketing. Create treatment and retail pricing structures suitable for the local market. Ensure all marketing materials align with brand guidelines. Organize wellness events, retreats, and workshops to promote well-being concepts. REVENUE MANAGEMENT AND FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Set annual KPI goals aligned with revenue targets. Follow revenue management guidelines for spa/well-being. Participate in weekly revenue meetings to explore new business opportunities. Apply revenue management techniques to maximize daily targets. Create pricing lists based on revenue management recommendations. Assist with month-end financial reporting. GUEST QUALITY AND OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE Accommodate guest preferences and special requests. Conduct regular quality audits of treatments and facilities. Oversee daily operations to ensure guest and colleague satisfaction. Provide tools and support for team to deliver excellent service. Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration is an asset. Minimum 2 years’ management experience in a spa setting, preferably in luxury hotels. Experience in spa therapy, recreation, or fitness is recommended. Background in financial budgeting and forecasting is essential.
