Primary Purpose of the Job Manage assurance and verification of all Health Safety Environment (HSE) and Quality Management matters of the NGL-5 project and ensure compliance by the lump sum EPIC Contractor with all contract requirements. Ensure implementation and effectiveness of HSE and Quality management systems and requirements for NGL-5.Required Experience and Skills Minimum of 25 years’ experience in HSE management functions and exposure on construction safety formajor Infrastructureand/or oil & gas projects of which at least last 10 years in similar HSE senior position for projects in IOC/NOC Companies or EPIC Contractors. Familiar with HSE, and Environmental regulatory regimes, international safety engineering codes and standards.Good communication in English, presentation and report writing skills. Understanding of Quality Management processes. Can demonstrate good team building and relationship building skills. Experience in development of project HSE related plans, philosophies and specifications. Relevant skills in HSE Studies, Environmental assessments and Project HSE Risk Registers. Experienced in Accident/Incident investigation, review and learning from HSE incidents. Extensive leadership skills to motivate and organise project QHSE and Contractor HSE and Quality Teams to achieve a high performance level. Computer literate with advanced knowledge of MS office application. Proficient in the use of technical English language (both written & spoken). Work experience in the Arabian Gulf Countries is desirable.Educational Qualifications Degree in an Engineering Discipline or relevant Diploma from a recognised university or equivalent with extensive construction management experience. NEBOSH or equivalent certification is required. Membership of a recognized professional engineering or HSE association/institution is required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
