Job Description Solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals through calls, site inspections, and written communication. Prepare correspondence, booking reports, and maintain files. Participate in sales meetings, pre-convention meetings, and training sessions. Collaborate with hotel departments to ensure quality service. Attend trade shows, community events, and industry meetings. Stay informed on market trends, competition, and customer needs. Represent the hotel professionally in community and industry organizations. Work as a team with all departments. Assist with reports and data collection. Maintain strong client relations and communicate convention specifications effectively. Review sales contracts and important meeting details with clients. Monitor deadlines and work with clients to optimize space utilization. Produce and distribute convention resumes and BEOs. Participate in site visits and meeting planning. Verify and update credit information in management software. Participate in pre/post-convention meetings and review bills. Recommend house vendors and establish checklists. Attend departmental and hotel meetings as necessary. Qualifications 2+ years of progressive sales or event management experience or relevant educational background. Proven ability to build and maintain business relationships resulting in sales. Service-oriented with professional presentation skills. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills. Experience managing luxury events and experiences.#J-18808-Ljbffr
