IT Business System Analyst

Reports to: Head of Business Solutions About The Role We are seeking ahighly skilled IT Business System Analystto drive the successful alignment of business processes with technology solutions at QTerminals. This role demands strong analytical ability, proven experience in system implementation, and excellent collaboration skills to support our mission-critical operations.Only candidates with solid business analysis expertise, IT system implementation experience, and strong stakeholder management skills should apply.Key Responsibilities Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering Engage stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business and technical requirements. Analyze and map business processes, workflows, system integrations, and user interactions. Identify process gaps and propose improvements aligned with industry best practices. Facilitate workshops and work collaboratively across departments to design business-driven IT solutions.System Implementation & Support Support system design, configuration, testing, and deployment in coordination with technical teams and vendors. Act as a liaison with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) for issue resolution and system optimization. Assist in change management activities and provide user training support.Testing & Quality Assurance Develop comprehensive test cases, perform functional/system testing, and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Ensure system changes enhance, not disrupt, business continuity.Project Management & Documentation Support IT project planning and execution using PMI, Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies. Maintain detailed technical documentation, user guides, and training materials.Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science/Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 3 years proven experience as a Business System Analyst in IT-intensive environments. Strong business analysis skills validated through a PMI-PBA certification or equivalent (preferred). Demonstrated experience working with Oracle Fusion ERP (strong advantage). Solid understanding of SQL, data modeling, and reporting tools. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and cross-functional team collaboration skills.Preferred Industry Experience Exposure to the port industry or terminal operations is highly advantageous.Candidate Profile Analytical, detail-oriented, and results-driven. Proactive in identifying solutions and process improvements. Comfortable working in fast-paced, operationally intensive environments.
