The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating exquisite desserts and pastries, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering the highest standards of quality. Key Responsibilities : Design and prepare a variety of high-end pastries, desserts, and baked goods to meet the restaurant’s standards of excellence. Develop new and innovative dessert menus and presentation techniques to keep offerings fresh and exciting for guests. Ensure all pastries and desserts are produced with precision, using the finest ingredients and following recipes to maintain consistency and quality. Supervise the pastry kitchen team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure smooth operations and high-quality results. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations, including food handling. Oversee inventory control for the pastry section, managing stock levels and ordering ingredients as needed. Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other kitchen staff to ensure desserts are seamlessly integrated into the overall menu and dining experience. Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate new ideas to enhance the dessert offerings. Handle guest feedback related to desserts and make necessary adjustments to ensure guest satisfaction. Assist in planning and preparing for special events, private parties, and seasonal menu updates. Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and sanitation in the pastry kitchen.#J-18808-Ljbffr
