Responsibilities include: Ensuring all food preparation meets standards Preparing and presenting high-quality food Supervising and training staff Maintaining clean and tidy work areas and preventing cross-contamination Preparing mis-en-place for relevant menus Assisting with guest queries promptly and efficiently Ensuring quality and proper storage of foodstuffs Contributing to cost control, gross profit margins, and departmental targets Assisting other departments and maintaining good relationships Supporting Head Chef/Sous Chef in staff training and compliance Reporting maintenance, hygiene, and hazard issues Complying with hotel security, fire regulations, and health & safety legislation Being environmentally conscious The ideal candidate should have: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Demi Chef de Partie Strong coaching and leadership skills Ability and desire to motivate the team Excellent communication skills Basic Food Hygiene Certificate Positive attitude Ability to work under pressure Ability to work independently or in a team Availability for a Food Trial (local candidates) Preferred qualifications include: Experience in luxury hotel industry Fine dining experience Knowledge of current food trends Conrad Hotels & Resorts offers contemporary design, sophisticated amenities, and personalized service, aiming to provide exceptional travel experiences worldwide.
