Physical Security Engineer

Engineer for complex security systems integration conversant in security systems for CCTV, Video Management systems, Intercom, Master clock, Intrusion, and Access Control, & software applications. Perform on-site commissioning of the system and produce engineering documents required for the project.Duties and Responsibilities: Perform on-site commissioning and testing of CCTV, ACS, Intrusion, Master clock, and other Security Systems;Ensure that the system functions according to project requirements or government compliance;Perform troubleshooting and resolve technical problems on-site during commissioning;Conduct system functional inspections with the Project Manager or Engineer if needed;Record all configurations to ensure proper tracking of assets and modifications;Verify site installations are proper before system commissioning;Provide engineering support by producing relevant documents;Review engineering documents prepared by others;Manage post-sales support issues, maintaining client confidentiality;Manage relationships with vendors and equipment providers;Develop and maintain written procedures related to responsibilities;Assist in pre-sales activities if required.Qualifications: BSc in Electronics and Communication Engineering or Computer Engineering from an accredited university;3-5 years of relevant experience in security engineering and commissioning;Certifications in security systems (e.g., Milestone, Dahua, Hikvision, Honeywell, Lenel, Zenitel, Gate Barriers, Bollards) preferred;Knowledge of networking and structured cabling is a plus;Certifications from physical security organizations (e.g., ASIS PSP, IPVM) are a plus.Skills & Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;Detail-oriented and organized;Ability to read and understand shop drawings and specifications;Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;Customer service orientation and professionalism;Excellent time management;Willingness to travel and work off-site as needed;Adaptability to industry developments and new technologies;Self-motivated and proactive;Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills;Ability to work under pressure and multitask.Company Industry: IT - Software Services Keywords: Physical Security Engineer Disclaimer: Naukrigulf.com is only a platform to connect jobseekers and employers.
