Digital Technical Lead

The Digital Tech Lead is responsible for designing and developing digital products that meet the needs of internal customers and align with business objectives. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions, ensuring seamless user experiences, and driving innovation in product development. ACTIVITIES Core Responsibilities : Lead and mentor a team of software developers, providing technical guidance. Define and communicate the technical vision, roadmap, and standards for projects. Design and architect software systems to meet both functional and non-functional requirements. Coordinate various technical disciplines supporting project development : data, information security, cloud, and network. Oversee development, testing, deployment, and maintenance, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards. Collaborate with stakeholders such as product owners, project managers, business analysts, and end-users to understand business needs. Manage technical risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating when necessary. Review and approve code, documentation, and technical deliverables. Monitor system performance, scalability, and reliability, proposing improvements as needed. Conduct research on emerging technologies and recommend enhancements for ongoing and future projects. Coordination and Collaboration : Ensure coordination between business, IT, and technical partners. Enable the development team to work efficiently and effectively. Apply agile methodologies to deliver value iteratively. Educate others on team processes and promote efficient collaboration. Facilitate team meetings, encouraging equal participation. Act as a motivator-leader for the team and proactively remove obstacles to progress. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in similar roles (e.g., Tech Lead, Full-stack Developer, Backend Developer, Dev Ops Engineer). Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Information Systems Management. Azure certifications are mandatory. Experience with the following technologies : Azure Paa S, Angular, React, Django, Kubernetes, Git Hub, Python, CI / CD, Dev Ops, Docker, Ansible, Terraform. Familiarity with industry data platforms (e.g., OSDU, Cognite Data Fusion) is an advantage. Experience in the oil and gas sector is a plus. Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP) and ITIL certifications are optional. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities; capable of working independently. Solid understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
