Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Site Engineer (Civil/Structural)to oversee and manage day-to-day construction activities on-site. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil and structural engineering with hands-on experience in executing major infrastructure and industrial projects. This role ensures technical compliance, quality assurance, and seamless coordination across civil and marine interfaces.Key Responsibilities Supervise and manage daily site construction works, including: Concrete pouring and curing Trenching and backfilling Equipment and structural foundation works Erection of steel and concrete structural components Ensure construction activities strictly follow approved Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings, method statements, specifications, and project standards. Coordinate with QA/QC teams to schedule and obtain inspection releases and ensure timely sign-offs. Prepare and submit accurate daily progress reports, highlighting completed work, pending issues, and resource utilization. Monitor work progress against the construction schedule, identify delays or bottlenecks, and propose corrective actions. Facilitate effective coordination between onshore civil teams and marine works to avoid conflicts and ensure interface alignment. Ensure full compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies and site safety procedures. Collaborate with subcontractors, material suppliers, and internal engineering teams to resolve technical or logistical challenges.Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from a recognized university. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in site execution of civil and structural works, preferably in infrastructure, marine, or industrial construction projects. Proven knowledge of construction standards, quality control practices, and safety regulations. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, method statements, and inspection/test plans. Familiarity with project scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and daily reporting procedures. Strong organizational, communication, and team coordination skills.Preferred Experience working on marine infrastructure, oil & gas, or port-related projects. Knowledge of interface management between civil and marine construction disciplines.
