Description
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Role Overview: Lead the Electrical Engineering activities for the North Field Expansion (NFXP and NFW) Offshore Project, ensuring all technical requirements (e.g., project specifications, data sheets, etc.) fully comply with project deliverables and standardized processes. Provide support to the NFE Offshore Engineering Manager to ensure all aspects are delivered to the highest standards. Responsibilities: Provide expert technical guidance on the design, testing, and installation of all electrical equipment and systems associated with offshore and onshore facilities (offshore scope). Ensure compliance with QELNG and international standards to enhance asset reliability and safety. Ensure Contractor’s electrical engineering for topsides and onshore facilities complies with contract requirements, project codes, and standards. Review and approve engineering deliverables such as design basis, specifications, philosophies, load lists, SLDs, hazardous area classification drawings, and power system studies. Plan and schedule electrical engineering deliverables to enable efficient project execution, ensuring technical alignment and compliance with Qatar Energy LNG policies, standards of business conduct, and project management systems. Participate in key design workshops, ensuring recommendations are implemented and actions are closed (e.g., SAFOP, 3D model reviews, lessons learned, value engineering, cybersecurity). Review vendor documentation for electrical equipment (transformers, HV & LV switchgear, ELICs, variable shunt reactors) and attend factory acceptance tests (FATs). Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts across disciplines involved in electrical systems related to topsides and pipelines engineering, and endorse technical deviations to company specifications when required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
