About The Role Qatar Aviation Services Cargo is recruiting for the Cargo Customer Services Agentposition. The role will be responsible for handling import & transit documentation, notifying the consignee of freight arrival, and collecting payment for handling charges. Accepts cargo based on IATA regulations. The agent will also attend to queries and email correspondence promptly, especially those requiring special handling and approval. The goal is to ensure total customer satisfaction with service quality excellence. Responsibilities Handle email communications, ensuring adherence to customer service requirements, working practices, and procedures to prevent process deviations. Coordinate with other departments regarding service requests or handling instructions to enhance customer experience. Manage basic customer complaints/inquiries via email or phone, escalating to seniors when necessary to maintain service quality. Monitor KPIs regularly and report deviations to seniors; communicate effectively with airlines, origin stations, brokers/agents, and departments to prevent delays and ensure customer satisfaction. Evaluate supporting documents against SOPs; consult with seniors if necessary before accepting incoming dangerous goods and AVI shipments. Perform physical checks on shipments to verify compliance with IATA/Carrier regulations, including weight, dimensions, packing, marking, and nature of goods. Review documents to ensure compliance with regulations before issuing the Airway Bill (AWB) for walk-in customers. Prepare notices for incoming cargo and IRP for uncollected shipments. Job Posting Jun 22, 2025, 3: 54: 00 PM About You Minimum High School Qualification with 1 year of relevant experience. Knowledge and experience in Ground Handling, Air Cargo Operations, or Warehouse. Excellent spoken and written English. Preferably fluent in spoken and written Arabic. Strong customer service background. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
