IT Recruiter
Description
The job of an IT Recruiter is to identify, screen, and qualify candidates for IT positions. The recruiter also reviews and presents resumes to hiring managers. Responsibilities: Reviews the job descriptions to better understand the needs of the hiring manager and asks questions that will help identify the right candidate(s). Understands the technology, technical roles, and technical skills required by the role. Sources and identifies candidates for the role. Screens and assesses the competence of candidates against a technical job description. Interviews and meets candidates in person, via telephone, or video conference to assess their qualifications. Follows up and keeps candidates updated on the status of their applications. Presents candidate profiles to the hiring manager. Minimum Requirements: Minimum of 5 years experience in technical or IT recruitment. Relevant education; degree holder preferred. GCC experience is an added advantage. Good written and verbal communication skills. Must be good at dealing with people, exhibiting self-confidence and maturity in various situations. Technology knowledge – ability to understand technology and keep abreast of technology trends.
