Description Position at Al Jazeera Media Network Senior Operator ‐ Multi‐Skills Operations The Senior Operator ‐ Multi‐Skills Operationsis responsible for the following inputs required for daily News and Programmes On-Air operations: Teleprompt system, Floor Managing Graphics Playout (Vizrt), Video Playout (Mosart, Icommad). Key Responsibilities: Manage the Video playout system to ensure it is ready for specific shows and optimal settings are adopted. Oversee all timed elements of live and pre-recorded programmes. Ensure programmes fit in timed slots as per master schedule. Check and manage times of all programme elements, packages, lives, studio interviews, etc., to ensure overall show timing is as planned. Liaise closely with editorial staff in News to help ensure the technical accuracy of script details. Liaise closely with Transmission controllers to confirm and/or agree on show on and off-air times. Manage and operate the template graphics system and related software during on-air operations. Make amendments on uploaded graphics and interactive tools on the graphics server before on-air. Troubleshoot and resolve on-air problems or system failures. Prepare daily status reports on defects or system failures. Liaise with the creative team on the functionality of all ready-to-air graphics and proactively provide solutions for planned situations. Assist Autocue Operators & Floor Managers as required. You will have: A BA Degree in Communications or related fields is preferable. Minimum 5 years of professional experience in TV, media, communications, or related fields. Knowledge of studio tools, equipment, and automated systems and software.#J-18808-Ljbffr
