Job Title: Personal Concierge - Waldorf Astoria Doha Lusail Location: Doha, Qatar Category: Hotel Employment Type: Full-time Posted: May 15th, 2025 Job Description A Personal Concierge directly addresses the needs of VIP and long-stay Guests and informs other Team Members of VIP and long-stay Guest needs to ensure an exceptional Guest experience. Responsibilities include: Meeting, greeting, and directing Guests in the lobby area. Serving as the main point of contact for VIP Guests and ensuring hotel departments are fully briefed on their requirements. Seeking verbal feedback from customers regularly and responding to all Guest queries promptly and efficiently. Serving as a contact point for long-stay Guests (14 days or longer), ensuring they feel comfortable and can seek advice or information from Guest Relations. Managing, recording, and resolving Guest or customer complaints promptly. Maintaining a high level of customer service in the Reception and Lobby areas. Demonstrating thorough knowledge of hotel facilities and services, and identifying opportunities for up-selling and promotion. Contributing creatively to lobby/reception decoration, especially during seasonal periods, to enhance the overall ambiance. Communicating with the Guest Experience Manager and tracking/rewarding loyal Guests based on their preferences and within budget. Maintaining good communication and working relationships across hotel departments. Ensuring staffing levels meet business demands. Complying with hotel security, fire regulations, and health and safety legislation. Handling front-of-house equipment and property management systems according to policies and procedures. Assisting other departments as necessary. Candidate Profile To succeed in this role, you should possess: Excellent listening and responsiveness to demanding Guest needs. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Accountability and resilience. A commitment to high customer service standards. The ability to work under pressure and respond flexibly to various situations. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in customer service or similar roles. A passion for delivering exceptional Guest service. IT proficiency.
