Job Description - Outside Catering Waiter/ess - Waldorf Astoria Lusail (HOT0BOTK) Job Description Job Number: Work Locations Waldorf Astoria Doha Lusail Qatar Entertainment City Doha Plot No. LED-ENT/01 An Outside Catering Waiter/ess is responsible for serving guests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while having extensive knowledge of menu offerings. What will I be doing? As an Outside Catering Waiter/ess, you are responsible for serving guests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. You will need to have extensive knowledge of menu offerings. Specifically, your tasks will include: Manage guest queries in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner Ensure knowledge of menu and all products Ensure mis-en-place is well stocked at all stations Follow correct reporting procedures if faced with issues Ensure Food and Beverage orders are of a consistently good standard and delivered promptly Practice Hilton Grooming standards including uniform dress code, cleanliness, and personal hygiene Prepare the outside catering setup to meet function specifications Deliver and serve food and beverages, including meals, condiments, and accompaniments Remove china, glassware, silverware, etc. from tables after service and deliver to stewarding Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service Respond to guest requests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner Prepare and replenish foods for hot and cold buffets such as fruits, juices, cereals, bread, hot foods, etc. Replenish ice and maintain sanitation standards for time and temperature Transport food items to and from the kitchen Check, maintain, and control inventory of food and beverages Restock inventory and break down buffets for cleaning and setup for the next day Perform general cleaning to maintain cleanliness of work area Put away food stock and dry goods according to standards Assist team members and other departments to maintain positive working relationships Assist with side work such as cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc. Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation What are we looking for?
