Overview Provides OM&R of all fire alarms, mass notification, and marking per NFPA standards base-wide. Operation and maintenance shall include regular inspection, testing, repair, programming, and upkeep of these systems base-wide. Responsibilities Certified to work on Monaco Products including D21 and BTX Units. Complete effective and efficient inspection, testing, operation, maintenance, repair, programming, and upkeep of fire alarm and control systems base-wide. Interpret instruments and meter readings, use wiring diagrams, schematics, drawings, technical publications, applicable test equipment, and enforce safety rules, environmental policies, and management principles. Perform recurring P.M. IAW applicable standards and manufacturer’s instructions. Conduct functional operation tests on fire detection and alarm systems to ensure operational status per UFC, NFPA Standards, and manufacturer’s instructions. Follow preventative maintenance plan and maintain records. Follow work prioritization requirements within timelines using automated management systems for all work orders. Adhere to safety programs in compliance with Vectrus, OSHA, and USAF requirements. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment. Participate in training programs and safeguard government and contractor property. Accurately complete timesheets and execute company procedures. Perform other duties as assigned according to contractual and mission requirements. Qualifications One-year related experience may substitute for education requirements. NICET Level I Certification. Monaco Certification in D21 and BTX systems. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid U.S. Passport and Driver’s License (manual transmission). Valid U.S. SECRET Security Clearance prior to deployment. Obtain an Air Force flight line driver’s license and pass related tests upon deployment. Pass employment, medical, dental, drug, psychological, and background checks. Complete CBRN defence training and fit testing for protective gear. Experience in managing fire alarm and suppression system maintenance and testing. Knowledge of electronics, low voltage circuits, and related testing and maintenance procedures.
