We’ve got what you’re looking for. Job Description: Site Engineer (Instrumentation) Qatar Parsons is looking for an experienced Site Engineer (Instrumentation) to join our team! In this role, you will manage daily site operations related to instrumentation and control systems, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. What You'll Be Doing: Oversee all instrumentation and control system installation activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with the design and construction teams to ensure smooth execution of instrumentation works, such as sensors, transmitters, control panels, and data acquisition systems. Monitor work progress, identify potential delays or issues, and take corrective actions to keep the project on track. Conduct site inspections, ensuring instrumentation works meet quality standards and conform to the approved design. Ensure proper documentation of all instrumentation activities, including progress reports, safety reports, and quality control checks. Manage site safety, ensuring workers adhere to safety protocols and minimize risks related to instrumentation works. Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services for instrumentation tasks. Assist with testing and commissioning, verifying that instrumentation components meet quality and functionality standards before handover. What Required Skills You'll Bring: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution. Minimum of 10 years of experience in instrumentation and control systems supervision, including at least 5 years in a site engineering role for large-scale infrastructure projects. Experience managing instrumentation works such as sensors, transmitters, control panels, and data acquisition systems. Strong understanding of instrumentation and control system standards, codes, and regulations. Proficiency in MS Office and project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project). Fluent in English with excellent communication skills. What Desired Skills You'll Bring: Proactive problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing circumstances. Strong leadership abilities to supervise and guide a team. Ability to multitask and manage multiple site activities simultaneously. Familiarity with international construction standards and local codes, especially in the Middle East or GCC. Knowledge of Auto CAD and other instrumentation design software. Strong attention to detail and ability to review designs for accuracy and compliance. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects concurrently.
