Qualifications & Job Skills: Full-time Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering. MMUP certification is an added advantage. 8 to 10 years of working experience, with at least 5 years in QA/QC functions for infrastructure and building projects. Qualified Lead Auditor in QMS ISO 9001 is an added advantage. Specific Requirements (if any): Experience as QA/QC in the Middle East. Experience in oil and gas, petrochemicals, or refinery projects is an added advantage. Responsibilities: Job Summary: General: Liaise with the Customer Representative on day-to-day quality-related activities of the project. Prepare project-specific QA/QC procedures, work instructions, and ITP/Quality Plans as required, in accordance with the Company IMS Procedures. Review stage-wise inspection requests, conduct inspections, and facilitate client inspections. Undertake quality awareness sessions, walkthroughs, and toolbox talks throughout the project. Conduct training sessions on quality control, testing, ITPs, etc. Monitor subcontractor performance for compliance with quality requirements. Ensure that inspection, monitoring, and measuring devices used in the project are verified for calibration validity. Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when necessary and liaise with discipline personnel to ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented. Identify training needs related to Quality for project personnel and notify the Project QA/QC Incharge. Ensure HSE compliance in your area of work. Discipline Specific: Inspect all civil activities related to infrastructure and buildings. Review method statements for technical adequacy and inspection/testing requirements. Be conversant with QCS and Ashgal requirements. Review and approve inspection and testing reports such as concrete, earthworks, MTC, etc. Conduct awareness sessions for skilled manpower like masons, fitters, carpenters, and earthwork operators on concrete, rebar, finishing works, and earthworks. Liaise with discipline engineers for interdisciplinary coordination between utilities such as electrical, water, and drainage. Review technical submittals and drawings from subcontractors, including engineering documents. Review reports and compile documentation for the project dossier. Carry out inspections related to subcontractor activities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
