We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Experience Advisor (Travel Desk Advisor) to join our Excursions Department. This customer-facing, sales-focused role is based in the hotel and involves selling tours and experiences directly to guests. The position plays a key role in revenue generation through excellent service, persuasive communication, and deep product knowledge. The ideal candidate is multilingual, knowledgeable about Qatar excursion products, passionate about customer engagement, confident in face-to-face selling, and thrives in a target-driven environment. This role offers commission payments based on sales performance. Responsibilities : Sales & Guest Engagement : Actively sell tours and excursions to guests, maximizing conversion and revenue. Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets. Engage directly with guests to provide information about available experiences and encourage bookings. Support with special guest requests and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the sales process. Reporting & Communication : Submit accurate daily sales reports to the Experience Manager. Send daily attendance reports. Booking & Financial Coordination : Input all bookings promptly and accurately into the system. Coordinate with the Finance Department regarding cash payments and ensure proper reconciliation. Handle cash and card transactions securely, following financial procedures. Education and Professional Qualifications : High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in tourism or hospitality is a plus. Sales or customer service training is advantageous. A valid Qatar driving license would be beneficial. Experience and Skills : 1-2 years industry experience in direct sales or guest-facing roles, preferably within a DMC or hospitality environment. Strong sales and promotional skills with a proven ability to close sales. In-depth knowledge of Qatar excursion products and experiences is advantageous. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; fluency in at least one other language such as German, Italian, French, Czech, Polish, or Russian. Problem-solving skills, with experience in resolving customer queries and handling conflicts constructively. Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with POS systems.#J-18808-Ljbffr
