Junior Quantity Surveyor/ Procurement Coordinator

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a motivated Junior Quantity Surveyor / Procurement Coordinator to join our dynamic construction team. This dual-role opportunity is perfect for a detail-oriented and analytical professional with strong organizational skills and a passion for building excellence. As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll assist in estimating costs, preparing budgets, and supporting project delivery. In the Procurement Coordinator capacity, you’ll manage purchasing, shipping logistics, and supplier coordination, ensuring materials are delivered efficiently and on time. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Quantity Surveying Duties: Assist in preparing project cost estimates and budgets Analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents Monitor project expenditures and cost performance Prepare monthly progress and financial reports Support senior QS and project managers throughout project lifecycle Procurement Coordination Duties: Coordinate all procurement activities from sourcing to delivery Manage shipping logistics with local freight brokers Maintain and develop relationships with key suppliers Track procurement schedules and ensure timely delivery of materials Resolve any purchasing or delivery issues Monitor price trends and assist in cost-saving initiatives Prepare detailed procurement and expenditure reports Report on supplier KPIs and support performance evaluations REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or related field Minimum 3 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying and/or Procurement Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and documentation Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specs Excellent analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Plan Swift, and Pro Core Effective communication and interpersonal skills BENEFITS Competitive salary package Benefits that meet or exceed the Government of the Cayman Islands Labour Law Opportunities for professional growth and development READY TO APPLY?
