Job Description: Site Engineer (Structure) Qatar Parsons is seeking an experienced Site Engineer (Structure) to join our team. In this role, you will manage daily site operations related to structural construction, ensuring project completion on time, within budget, and to quality standards. What You'll Be Doing: Oversee all structural construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulations. Coordinate with design and construction teams to ensure smooth execution of structural works, including concrete and steel structures, foundations, and infrastructure. Monitor work progress, identify delays or issues, and implement corrective actions to keep the project on track. Conduct site inspections to ensure structural works meet quality standards and are in accordance with approved designs. Maintain proper documentation of all structural works, including reports and safety checks. Manage site safety protocols to minimize risks associated with structural works. Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Assist with testing and commissioning to ensure structural components meet quality and functionality standards prior to handover. What Required Skills You'll Bring: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university. At least 10 years of experience in structural construction supervision, with 5+ years in site engineering for large infrastructure projects like bridges and industrial facilities. Experience managing structural works such as concrete and steel structures, foundations, and infrastructure. Strong knowledge of structural standards, codes, and regulations. Proficiency in MS Office and project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project). Fluent in English with excellent communication skills. MME certification is required. What Desired Skills You'll Bring: Proactive problem-solving skills and adaptability. Strong leadership abilities to supervise and guide teams. Ability to multitask and manage multiple site activities. Familiarity with international construction standards and local codes, especially in the Middle East or GCC. Knowledge of Auto CAD and other structural design software. Attention to detail and ability to review designs for accuracy and compliance. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
