Senior Design Manager/ AD - Structural
Description
A major development company in Riyadh Lead and manage the structural engineering team for high-rise construction projects from conception to completion.Oversee the structural design process, ensuring compliance with local and international building codes and regulations.Review and approve detailed structural drawings, plans, and specifications.Manage and coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.Monitor and ensure the structural integrity of all phases of the construction process, identifying and addressing potential risks or issues.Conduct site visits to monitor progress and quality, resolving any on-site issues related to structural elements.Ensure that safety and environmental regulations are strictly adhered to during construction.Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and team members.Review and manage the procurement process for structural materials and equipment.Report on project status, including timelines, costs, and risks to senior management.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.Professional Engineering License (P.Eng., PE, or equivalent) preferred.Minimum of 15 years of experience in structural engineering, with at least 15 years of experience in managing high-rise construction projects.In-depth knowledge of structural design, materials, construction methods, and building codes.Proven experience in managing complex high-rise or large-scale projects.Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills.Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD Pro) and Microsoft Office Suite. #J-18808-Ljbffr
